The Society of Interventional Radiology and Minimally Invasive Therapy in Bosnia and Herzegovina was founded on November 25, 2023. in response to the initiative of physicians who deal with interventional radiology and minimally invasive procedures to organize a professional organization that will promote this new field of medicine, provide and assist in the education of both members and other health professionals in the field of interventional radiology and minimally invasive therapy, and to represent and protect the rights and interests of members dealing with these procedures.
SIRMIT BH will strongly support the development of interventional radiology and minimally invasive therapy in Bosnia and Herzegovina through the organization of scientific meetings in terms of the exchange of knowledge and experience, as well as the popularization of this branch of medicine among other health professionals and the general public and will provide membership with direct access to relevant scientific journals. and the most relevant world professional organizations that inherit and actively participate in the further development of interventional radiology and minimally invasive therapy.
