Following the exceptionally successful 2024 1st Congress of the Society of Interventional Radiology and Minimally Invasive Therapy in Bosnia and Herzegovina (SIRMIT BH), which was highly rated by participants both in terms of organization and scientific quality, and taking into account the continued rapid global expansion of interventional radiology and minimally invasive therapies, as well as the increasing demand and need for such procedures in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Association of Interventional Radiologists and Minimally Invasive Therapists in Bosnia and Herzegovina (official abbreviation: SIRMIT BH) has decided to organize the 2nd Congress of SIRMIT BH.
The Congress is envisioned as a platform for the exchange of professional experience, presentation of the latest scientific and clinical achievements in the fields of interventional radiology and minimally invasive therapy, and further promotion and development of this rapidly evolving medical specialty.
The planned participants include physicians actively involved in these fields from across Bosnia and Herzegovina, together with distinguished experts from the region and around the world. The Congress will also bring together physicians from other specialties who may not directly perform these procedures but are involved in patient selection, indication setting, multidisciplinary decision-making, and therapeutic management of patients undergoing minimally invasive treatments.
The scientific program will cover the latest developments and treatment approaches in vascular and non-vascular interventional radiology, interventional oncology, minimally invasive pain therapies, and image-guided procedures related to gastrointestinal and genitourinary pathology. Special attention will also be dedicated to post-procedural care and rehabilitation, with particular focus on patients treated for acute ischemic stroke.
The 2nd Congress of SIRMIT BH will take place from November 6–8, 2026, in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the Mövenpick Hotel Sarajevo.
In order for your registration fee to be in order, please fill out the application and make the payment by the scheduled deadline - 31 Aug 2026 in case of early registration, and until 5 Nov 2026 in case of late registration.

Entrance ticket fee in the amount of 50 BAM must be paid for the attendance to Networking dinner planned to be held in lively and vibrant atmosphere of Hemingway's Bar restaurant, at Zmaja od Bosne 13, 71000 Sarajevo, on 7 November 2026, from 20:00 to 01:00. Please note that due to limited capacity (up to 200 persons) of the venue tickets will be sold out on the first come – first served basis.
